Kari and Craig's Reception: Reunited with Friends

Last night we ventured to the big city of Idalou to celebrate the marriage of our friends Kari and Craig. We had the best time!! Got to see lots of my friends from college and hang out with Josh, Allie and Hensley!!

I can not tell you how blessed I am to have the friends I have in my life...God has put some amazing woman in my life and I can't wait to see what God has in the future for all of us!!

Baby G: 26 Weeks

26 Weeks

Same dress 10 weeks earlier :) 

How far along? 26...good thing I do a blog..sometimes I get confused on what week I am on...isn't that sad.

Size of Baby G? About 2lbs and 14 inches long. The size of an English hothouse cucumber.

Total weight gain/loss? I am down a little to about plus 10 lbs according to Dr. office yesterday

Maternity clothes? Yessiree bob!!

Sleep? Most nights I can find my comfy spot between two pillows. My husband says he has been replaced by a body pillow and I told him yes he was...it was more soft and squishy! :)

Movement? Yes! He is an active little thing. But love that Garrett and I get to feel him move!

Food cravings/aversions? Just love food :)

Gender? BOY!!!!

What others are saying: People have been so sweet. Got to see a bunch of college friend s this weekend and they do a lot for someone's self confidence. :) And they can't wait to meet Baby G...I am blessed with amazing life long friends and Baby G is going to be so lucky to have so many amazing honorary aunts!!

What I miss: Not much!! Loving being pregnant.

Wedding rings on or off? on

What I am looking forward to: I ordered something for the first time this week with his name on it and that was so much fun..Can't wait to share that with everyone.

Baby G: 24 Weeks

How far along? 24

Size of Baby G? About the size of an ear of corn....measuring around 12 inches and weighing a little over a pound

Total weight gain/loss? about 13-14 lbs

Maternity clothes? For sure maternity pants....I can still wear some of my tops

Sleep? I am finally finding my comfy spot so sleeping pretty good just turn alot more then before.

Movement? Yes! He is an active little thing. But love that Garrett and I get to feel him move!

Food cravings/aversions? nothing new this time...just love food :)

Gender? BOY!!!!

What others are saying: spend the weekend in Dalhart and my sisters just like to rub on my tummy and talk to Baby G :)

What I miss: Not much!! Loving being pregnant.

Wedding Part 5: The Ladies!!!

Don't ya'll just love how out of order my blog posts are....Nothing like posting wedding and pregnancy at the same time!! But I can't not finish posting about the most wonderful day!!!

I had 5 very special ladies that stood up with me at the church and I love each and every one of them very much!!

Yesterday, sweet Britt F gave me a Liebster Award. From what I gather, it is just a fun way to recognize other small bloggers and learn a bit more about each other. Fun, huh! Thanks for the nomination Brittie!!

11 things about myself that you might not know...
1.  I was a really strange child...the seam in my socks had to be just right and my shoes had to be tied so tight that it wouldn't move...if it messed up...we started all over again. Thank goodness for patient parents!
2.  My two sisters are my absolute best friends in the whole wide world and I talk to them daily!
3.  I didn't know what being a ginger meant until I married married a red-head :) If you don't know...that is what some people call red-heads..I was slightly confused for awhile.
4.  I am 6 months pregnant and loving every minute.
5.  I could live off of peanut butter.
6.  I am a home body!
7.  I am a very opinionated and particular person...if you know me very well then I guess you would already know that...lol! I have two laid back sisters....one of us had to be :)
8.  My husband is my best friend and so blessed by him!
9.  I am very old fashioned and want my kids to grow up with the same old fashioned values and beliefs.
10. I sell AdvoCare...love the products and absolutely love the company and its values!
11. I have moved 10 times since graduating high school...my poor father :)

1. Best book I have ever read? If you only knew how hard this question is for me. I adore reading. I would have to say Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers or ANYTHING Karen Kingsbury. Sorry that really doesn't narrow it down to one book :)
2. Fashion trend you want to try? I think mine would have to be skinny jeans with cute flats...I can only wear them with my tall boots..I don't think it would be cute for me otherwise.
3. Best advice you have every received? God is constant...when you think everything in your life is going crazy...always remember God is constant and faithful.
4. How do you drink your coffee? With sugar and creamer...usually french vanilla creamer!! Sure as heck not black
5. Favorite season? I am for sure an all 4 seasons kind of girl...that is why I live in the Panhandle of Texas...sometimes I get all 4 in one day :) lol!
6. What's your release? Going for a walk/exercise
7. Name of your first pet. My first personal pet and not family pet was probably Blackie, my horse..He was also the first and only horse to buck me off. Can't say he was my favorite after that!
8. If you had college to do over, what would you major in? I wouldn't trade my agriculture degree for anything but I think I would add some photography and graphic design classes in the mix.

Baby G: 22 Weeks :)

How far along? 22

Size of Baby G? The length of a spaghetti squash...and his momma loves her some spaghetti squash :)

Total weight gain/loss? about 12.5 lbs....had a nice little jump this month..Man he is growing lol...or maybe that is just me!

Maternity clothes? For sure maternity pants....I can still wear some of my tops

Sleep? I am finally finding my comfy spot so sleeping pretty good just turn alot more then before.

Movement? Yes! He is an active little thing. The first day I really felt he moved so much he almost made me sick lol! But I feel him pretty regular now. Garrett has even gotten to feel him move quite a few times.

Food cravings/aversions? I think my sweet tooth from the last blog post is the reason for my 12.5 lbs LOL!!! No real new cravings.

Gender? BOY!!!!

What others are saying: That I am really "blossoming" lol!

What I miss: Not much!! Loving being pregnant.

What I am looking forward to: Putting the nursery together :) I don't want a definite theme just want to find cute little things along the way!

Baby G: 20 Weeks!!!

How far along? 20 weeks....half way to meeting Baby G

Size of Baby G? Banana....at our appt. on February 1st he weighed 10 oz.

Total weight gain/loss? About +4 lbs

Maternity clothes? For sure maternity pants....I can still wear some of my tops

Sleep? Sleep has started to be a little different. I love to sleep on my back so now having to adjust to side sleeping..loving my new body pillow :)

Movement? The first time I felt Baby G...he kicked the sonogram machine...the sonogramist asked if I felt that?!? lol...she felt him kick the part on my stomach. So crazy. I think I have felt him a few times but nothing definite.

Food cravings/aversions? I have had a little more of a sweet tooth the last couple of weeks.

Gender? BOY!!!! We are super excited!! Loved seeing our healthy baby boy at our sonogram. 

What others are saying: They are excited its a boy!! Now everyone is wanting to know a name :) But that is a secret until June!!  Also quite a few belly touches this week.

What I miss: I have missed good sleep this week but it will get better. Just adjusting.
