Baby G: 14 Weeks

Happy New Year!

 

How far along? 14 weeks, sorry I skipped a week!

Size of Baby G? size of a lemon

Total weight gain/loss? when I went to dr before Christmas I hadn't gained anything per their records which made me feel good but I think the Christmas totally ruined that...lol!! I am nervous to step onto the scales :)

Maternity clothes? Maternity Jeans and they are way comfy although I have been living in sweat pants over my holiday break.

Sleep? Sleeping great. Except the 500 bathroom breaks.

Movement? Not yet

Food cravings/aversions?  Had a Chick-fil-A craving the other day and it just so happened to be on a Sunday..dern it.

Gender? We will find out mid-February

What others are saying: not really anything new

What I miss: Not gonna lie...missed my wine over the holidays

Wedding rings on or off? still on

What I am looking forward to: finding out gender next month and starting to organize and clean out nursery



Baby G: 12 Weeks

How far along? 12 weeks

Size of Baby G? size of a lime (about 2 in. long)

Total weight gain/loss? about 3-4 lbs gained

Maternity clothes? Allison sent me a pair of maternity jeans and I wore them all weekend and they rocked!!!

Sleep? Sleeping great. Going to bed way early and loving it!!

Movement? Not yet

Food cravings/aversions? Just food in general. Sometimes smells really throw me off but other then that no crazy cravings or aversions.

Gender? We will find out our the first of February

What others are saying: Everyone is excited!

What I miss: Nothing much this week. I miss my regular jeans being comfy but that is ok. guess it was time for me to make that transition into maternity jeans :)

Wedding rings on or off? still on...thanks goodness. If they were already off I would be way sad!

What I am looking forward to: Our next appt on Dec 20th and getting updates.

Total weight gain/loss? maybe a few lbs gained

Maternity clothes? I am not in maternity clothes yet but my jeans are sure screaming at me to change over :)

Sleep? Sleeping great. Going to bed way early and loving it!!

Movement? Not yet

What others are saying: Everyone is super excited. We were so excited to finally get to share with friends and family!! Makes the pregnancy even more real.

Weekend at El Rancho :)

All of us girls and our spouses and kiddos all got to go home to Dalhart for the weekend. I didn't get my camera out much but I did capture a few fun random pictures on my phone to share!

Big News!!

Garrett and I have been keeping a little secret from the world for a little while and let me tell ya...when it is a fun secret...it is VERY hard!!

 

 

Garrett and I are welcoming an amazing little blessing into the world on June 30, 2013 and we could not be more excited!! I have been very blessed and have felt wonderful. Little nauseous every now and again but usually nothing a cracker can't fix :)

 

After going to the doctor the week of Thanksgiving and seeing the heartbeat we were sure ready to share with our family and friends!!

 

 

This is what our families got to open for the announcement!! Barbara and Teddy's was disguised as an early Christmas gift they "needed" in December and we put the one to tell my family in the bottom of Rebecca's birthday bag! Everyone was so excited. We are very blessed to have two very supportive and loving families!!

 

I will you keep you updated on Baby G and pregnancy throughout the next 30 weeks!!

Wedding Part 4: Evening at the Ranch

After the rehearsal dinner, everyone was invited out to the house to hang out. My wonderful Aunt Beth and Shelley but together a meal for everyone that wasn't at rehearsal dinner and it was wonderful! That meant so much to Garrett and I! Here are some pictures of the fun relaxing evening!

Wedding Part 3: Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner

Finally back to wedding blogging!! Love looking back at all the pictures! What an amazing weekend for Garrett and I and family!! This next group of pictures if from the day before the wedding. We had the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at the Central United Methodist Church!
