Busy Weekend with the Gilliams

I am a weekend behind but didn't want to go on without sharing the great weekend we had with the Gilliams.

 

 

Well, actually we started the weekend with the White's and the Northside homecoming were I had a cousin playing football and cheering and lots of family in the stands...such a great time of seeing family and long time family friends!!

Saturday we spent the day hanging out in Quanah checking cows and having to pull a calf and just relaxing with the family before heading to Wichita for Joe and Cari's wedding at The Falls.

Beautiful wedding at The Falls on Saturday night and Sunday morning I took Clarks "Turning 1" pictures! What a cutie..we had so much fun. Here is a little preview.

Hello Again

To say I am a little behind is an understatement but hey I have a good excuse. I mean come on...I got married and then got to go to the beautiful Island of St. Thomas!!!

While I am getting pictures organized of the wedding and honeymoon I wanted to give you an update on life!!

Married life is wonderfully...Garrett cooks and cleans for me and I just get to read and watch my dumb drama reality shows....lol. Just kidding. But seriously married life is wonderful. I am so blessed that God brought such an amazing man into my life.

I hadn't had a chance to update everyone on Garrett job before the wedding so thought I would share now. He is the feed foremen for Cactus feeders at their Tulia yard and loving it. He is doing something he loves to do and that is feed cows!!

Yep ladies that is my cowboy!

 

 

It is back to work for me today....little hard after a great two week off but I am so blessed with a great job and great coworkers so I won't complain too much!! :)

 

 

September bring us a busy month but it is ok...I mean after all its my birthday month!!

 First of all, Happy Happy Birthday!!! I know today in Heaven you are getting to go to a huge roping with some of your favorite and best partners!! That puts a big smile on my face and my heart happy.

Second of all, we miss you tons down here. I miss our summers of riding around through the pastures counting cattle and trips to the sale barn. I miss us sneaking a few sweets of a morning when out running errands and you making me promise not to tell Me-Me...like she wouldn't know!! lol! I miss our morning coffee times and your sweet smile!!

Love you tons and look forward to our time together again...and look forward to you getting to meet Garrett...he is pretty darn special!

Weeks are flying by!!!

First of all, I would like to apologize for my lack of blogging lately!! Life has been crazy busy, but that also means alot to catch up on!!

The first weekend in August, I had the honor of shooting a wedding in Brownfield for Nathan and Jacki....it was at a beautiful rustic venue! Can't wait to share pictures but while you wait...here is a glance at the Bride and her girls!

Last Monday, headed North to get my bridals taken! Sylvia Renick has taken all our girls senior pictures and Rebecca and Allie's bridals so I was so excited for it to be my turn with this very talented lady!! We went several places around town and had a blast!!!  Can't wait to share...but not for another 2 weeks :)

Tuesday, Garrett started his job with Cactus feeders as their feed foreman. He seems to be really enjoying even though he has to be in Tulia by 4:40 AM!!!!  He was so excited to get a job in industry where he can put his Beef Nutrition degree to use....we just had to be patient because is was all in God's timing and we are so blessed!! I am so proud of him!!



The rest of the week was spent watching the Olympic and hanging out with my fiance...it is so weird to have him in the same town (well close..he is in Amarillo) but so nice and fun!!!

Saturday my boss and a great friend had a fun little Stock the Bar party for Garrett and I...what a fun idea!! We left that night with some great additions to our bar!!! Lots of wines and whisky (our favorite)....can't wait to invite people over for a dinner party!!

This is my last week of work before heading to Dalhart for the big day!!! T minus 12 Days until our BIG DAY!!!! Beyond excited....ready to be home to help finish everything up!!! Excited to see family and friends!!

2 Weeks until we are here!!! I can't wait!!! Sugar Bay Resort and Spa in St. Thomas!
