Broox Reid:8 Months

I know it has been awhile since I have done a monthly update, so I am super excited to share with you what Broox has been up to!

Broox Reid at 8 months is:

Such a happy, smiley boy

Eating 2-3 meals a day (depends on if mom is on the ball or not)

Drinks 6 oz of formula every 3-4 hours

He weighs around 16lbs 

He takes 2-3 naps a day...we are working through a tough transition right now

His hands are constantly in his mouth along with his socks

This month he has learned to go from laying down to sitting up on his own to crawling/scooting across the room! It seems like he has made this moving transition really fast to momma! Can't imagine it having something to do with Braxton moving all the time!  He moves fastest to an unoccupied sippy cup :) He loves to play with Braxton and is getting into it all! He is such a blessing and joy and we are so blessed that God decided we needed an extra addition so close! I love watching my boys interact and can't wait for them to get older because I know they will be best friends! 

Thought I would throw in a fun comparison of the boys both at 8 months in the same outfit..I never thought they look alike but they are looking pretty darn close to me! Sweet boys with sweet individual personalities but apparently someone genes ( not mine) shine through pretty strong!

1/52: Portrait of the Kids

So today I saw on my cousins blog, The Fisk Files, that she is doing a weekly portrait of her kiddos for a year. Now we all know how great I am at posting monthly updates so can you imagine me getting it done weekly. I thought it was such a cute idea and it will also give me a reason to get my camera out and play with it. I don't do that near enough. So I am taking the challenge! Here are there sweet faces in the first post of 2015!!

Sweet Sunday Morning

I miraculously got the boys and I ready a little early for church on Sunday so I decided I would try for a quick photo shoot. Garrett is back to having to work every other Sunday and we sure miss him going to church with  us, but so thankful for all his hard work! 

Here are a few of our sweet boys!

Braxton 15 Months

Oh this little boy who stole his momma's heart first! I am loving this age...Braxton is so active and fun! He loves climbing all over things, watching baby signing times and the signing is clicking because we can do "more" "milk" "please" "thank you" 'hat" and we are almost getting "cracker", he adores playing outside and with the water, he runs everywhere!! He runs to the door when da-da gets home. He gives sloppery kisses!! And he notices the smallest things. He LOVES his "hats" He sleeps with his blanket and a stuffed buffalo and loves snuggling with them! He sleeps from 6:30 or 7 pm until about 7:00 am and naps once a day!I am sure I am forgetting lots of fun things but the boys keep me so busy it is hard to keep up!
